Day 1, ER

Joni officially made the transplant list for new lungs on Wednesday, March 29th 2023!

Her pulmonary fibrosis is progressing quickly enough that she decided to check herself into the ER at UK on Tuesday, April 4th. The amazing staff got her comfortable in her own room in the ICU later that evening. She is stable and essentially, just waiting around for her perfect match.
